Wonderful play with amazing cast
A very funny play that has it all: great actors, funny songs, amazing performances, including dancing, singing, jumping rope, and even “bend and snap” routines. Great casting and a never-miss sound man makes it a must-see. ... Read more

A must see
A magically talented cast creates a verbal and musical waltz that is spectacular to behold. It’s fun from beginning to end, the audience is laughing and crying and the closing court scene is Broadway coordinated. Truly fantastic. I met Canadiens who flew in from Vancouver BC to see the show and were so impressed.
Elle tirelessly and seamlessly connects each scene and has a voice that is rich, powerful, perfect in pitch and simply glorious. Her mannerisms, facial expressions and endless energy make her a star. Her acting transfixes all; you can hear a pin drop and feel her disappointment when she laments certain behaviors in song (no spoilers here). Her performance extracts incredible empathy from the audience and then awe as her character arc brings her to a strong, confident, independent woman.
Paulette and Kyle’s relationship is so much fun and keeps you laughing all the time. Kyle should be a national tours first choice to be the UPS man as should Elle. The musical is so well directed that every character in every scene from beginning to end plays their part, has distinct mannerisms, pays attention to detail and adds to the humor of the scene. Bravo.
This is a must see that is readily available and affordable and is right here, right now in our own Portland. Go see it if you can find a ticket, you won’t be disappointed. Don’t fall for the alternative sites asking $400 a ticket, no ticket should be over $100 and is usually between $37 and $68. There’s no bad seat in the house, the theater is small, 300+ seats.
Enjoy. ... Read more
