Why See Anne Lamott?
The Acclaimed Author On Tour
Acclaimed author Anne Lamott heads out on tour this fall as she presents her new book, Almost Everything: Notes on Hope. Famed for her deprecating manner, and inspirational speeches Lamott talks about sadness, grief and loss in an uplifting manner, teaching us how we can all move on and grow.
Never shying away from opening herself up to her readers, Lamott openly writes about alcoholism, single-motherhood, depression and Christianity, allowing her readers to follow suit and to look inwards upon themselves in order to grow. Beginning her writing career with a novel dedicated to her dying father (the writer Kenneth Lamott), Lamott has gone onto write seven novels with her eleven non-fiction books receiving best selling status.
In this unique evening, join Lamott in light and intimate conversation as she dives into what makes her tick, and the source of her latest book, Almost Everything: Notes on Hope.
